The URBACT call for Good Practices is open!

Edited on 25/04/2024

With this call, running from 15 April to 30 June 2024, the URBACT Programme is looking for existing local practices that are impactful, participatory, integrated, relevant for the European Union and transferable to other European cities.

The URBACT call for Good Practices is open to cities from European Union's 27 Member States, Partner States (Norway, Switzerland), cities from countries benefitting from the Instrument for Pre-Accession to the EU (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia), as well as from Ukraine and Moldova. The goal of this call is to provide European-wide visibility to impactful local practices in sustainable urban development and offer inspiration and transfer opportunities to other European cities.

The awarded URBACT Good Practice Cities will benefit from a variety of visibility and promotional actions with the URBACT City Festival on 8-10 April 2025 in Wroclaw (Poland) being one of the highlights. The selected cities will also have a possibility to lead an URBACT Transfer Network with programme funds and resources starting from 2025.

The terms of reference of the call for Good Practices provide detailed information on who is eligible to apply and the application process. The URBACT Secretariat and National URBACT Points are organising a series of online and in-person information sessions across Europe to share information about the call and respond to questions from European cities.
